My local group has had good experiences thus far with using a blog to discuss our running issues and share info. We had gotten to the point of having a regular flurry of emails. We decided that blogging was less hectic, as well as less intrusive. It is also much neater.
Right now, all three of us have the ability to post an entry on this blog (author rights). You can also post a comment, at will.
This blog in not public and is viewable just betwixt us and whomever else we might elect to invite. It also means that you have to be logged on to view it.
If you like, we could consider public options. We can:
a. invite others to have author rights.
b. allow the public to view, but not allow them to comment.
c. allow anyone to view and comment.
I can also add or rearrange any of the sidebar elements that you might like (links, etc.)
